Price SHOCK - not always need it! Simply Earth, DoTerra, Young Living

Hello guys and welcome back!

Monday is new blog and today I am having eye opening blog. I think that all of us like good quality products and every now and then we want to treat ourselves for a bit of luxury. I decided in this blog compare prices with big MLM companies. Well what is MLM - Multi Level Marketing companies. These are big players on the Essential Oil markets. DoTerra and Young Living are these big players and well known MLM company. How do they work - Well you sigh up, pay premium price for starter kit (usually 6 well known Essential Oils) and they you can use your profile to recruit more and more people and gain small or big money. You can do it full time or part time. How ever Some people don't really understand oils how dangerous or how beneficial they can be and just rely on information provided by company.

Simply Earth is different. It is small private company offering oils for affordable prices and reason why is that they get oil from supplier, bottle it and send it straight to your door - no middle man. Compare to MLM companies they get oil (sometimes from same supplier) bottle it, advertise it, add margin for top management, middle management and low management and then you receive a bottle for sky high prices.

There is example -

Simply Earth - 15ml bottle - £8 + bottling and labelling = £10

DoTerra & Young Living - 15ml bottle - £8 +£2 bottling and labelling+£20 marketing = £30

Same oil, same supplier, same testing. This is just made up example how MLM companies work.

I selected 3 Essential Oils Blends available from all 3 Companies using more then less similar or exactly the same ingrediencies. Just let you know that all prices were sourced from direct websites.

1) Citrus Burst - Simply Earth: 15ml Bottle £7.60 (Lime, Lemon, Grapefruit, Orange, Bergamot)

Citrus Bliss - DoTerra: 15 ml Bottle $28 (Wild Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Grapefruit Peel, Mandarin Peel, Bergamot Peel, Tangerine Peel, Clementine Peel essential oils and Vanilla Bean Absolute.) I would like to pointed out here that Clementine, Mandarin, Tangerine and really similar species of citrus fruit that have a very similar fragrance.

Citrus Fresh - Young Living: 15 ml bottle $18.55 (Orange (Citrus aurantium), tangerine (Citrus nobilis), mandarin (Citrus reticulata), grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), lemon (Citrus limon), and spearmint (Mentha spicata).

Each product contain - Lemon, Grapefruit, Orange,

Very similar products but very different prices.

2)

Digest Aid - Simply Earth: 15ml Bottle £10.64 (Sweet Orange, Aniseed, Bergamot, German Chamomile)

Digest Zen - DoTerra: 15ml Bottle £38.33 (Anise Seed, Peppermint Plant, Ginger Rhizome/Root, Caraway Seed, Coriander Seed, Tarragon Plant, and Fennel Seed essential oils)

Digize - Young Living: 15 ml bottle £39.86 ( Tarragon, Ginger, Peppermint, Juniper, Lemongrass, Anise, and Patchouli

These are 3 blend that are design help you with your digestion once they apply topically. All essential oils that they contained are good for your digestive system and well known to ease any discomfort. But again look at the price. You can get almost 3 bottles from Simply Earth for price of 1 bottle from Young Living.

That is strategy from MLM companies.

3)

Happy Joy - Simply Earth: 15 ml Bottle £7.60 (Grapefruit, Sweet Orange, Geranium, Ylang Ylang)

Cheer - DoTerra: 5ml Bottle £27.33 (Wild Orange Peel, Clove Bud, Star Anise Fruit/Seed, Lemon Myrtle Leaf, Nutmeg Kernel, Vanilla Bean Extract, Ginger Rhizome, Cinnamon Bark, Zdravetz Herb.

Joy - Young Living: 15 ml bottle £50.92 (Bergamot, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, Lemon Coriander, Tangerine, Jasmine, Roman Chamomile, Palmarosa, Rose)

Again 3 Similar blends that should lift your mood and induce positive attitude. DoTerra offer ONLY 5ml bottle size but pay attention to Young Living!! £50.92 for 15ml bottle seen to be well expensive even considering that this blend contain Rose and Jasmine essential oil (some of the most expensive oils on the market.

Some people can argue that DoTerra contain more essential oils then Simply Earth. That is true but in Aromatherapy less is more and human organisms can get over loaded or confused with too many oils.

I would like to close this blog wit statement that purpose of this blog was purely price comparison. As we all different, different Blends work for us. All prices were sources from - simplyearth.com, doterra.com, youngliving.com As time change prices can change. Also I would like to say that I tried DoTerra oils but wasn't overly impressed with them. I haven't tried Young Living as I do not agree with company procedures and recommendation like Rain Drop Therapy that is in my eyes risky procedure (applying undulated essential oils directly on skin)

DoTerra has unbelievable recommendation to consume essential oils boost your immune system and as future aromatherapist in training this is a bit socking because you never should consume pure essential oils. DoTerra praise themselves on constant research, and that make me believe that they alter essential oils for consumption. But once you chemically alter essential oil remove or add chemical compound you should not call it pure as it isn't.

That's why I choose Simply Earth because they do not recommend unsafe practises, comply with general Aromatherapy Rules, donate 13% of takings to charity and selling oils for much affordable prices.

I would like to say that everything written in this blog is my personal opinion and my intention wasn't upset anybody. We all different and prefer different brands. I don't like MLM companies just because I think they rip off money from people for something that is cheaper available elsewhere.

I hope you enjoyed this price comparison blog. If you interested in Simply Earth please click the link down below or if you DoTerra or Young Living customers enjoy your memberships and wish you luck in future.
